Trimester Development Your baby will develop the following:

Your baby will rapidly develop from just a few cells to an embryo in just 14 weeks.

Your child will begin to develop eyes, bones, teeth buds, nose, ears, vital organs, fingers, toes and even urine

By the end of the first trimester, your baby's genitals will also be formed and would even be recognizable.
What happens to you during this first trimester (week 1 to
15)?

You will miss your first period, and will need to confirm your pregnancy by having a pregnancy test done.

Your breasts will swell in size and become sensitive as the milk glands begin to multiply in number.

Some of you may feel nausea and begin to experience the dreaded morning sickness
You will start “looking” pregnant by the end of this trimester.
Dos and Don’ts for the first trimester

Cut down on caffeine

Reduce or avoid alcohol

Wear loose fitting clothes

Get a comfortable pair of shoes

Drink plenty of fluids
